Burundi

Burundi, officially the Republic of Burundi, is a country in the Great Rift Valley where the African Great Lakes region and East Africa converge. The official languages of Burundi are Kirundi and French, Kirundi being recognised officially as the sole national language.

The tiny country of Burundi has no elephants although historically it did have. However, the country is committed to the closure of ivory markets and the illicit trade in ivory.
